The Bears were hoping to compete this season in the NFC but it’s yet another year that is going to end like so many before. It’s been close to 10 years since the Bears were last in the Super Bowl and it’s been 30 years since they won it. That’s a long period of being mediocre and Chicago seems stuck moving forward.

Jay Cutler goes from being alright one week to being the reason the Bears are losing the next. His swings in consistency are too violent to have any sort of faith in him, yet the Bears are tied to him for the foreseeable future.

To the credit of the Bears, they were plagued by injuries this season, not the least of which occurred to rookie Kevin White who very much could have helped the Chicago offense open up a little bit. There’s no saying that would definitely happen, but not having that dual receiving threat all season long no doubt hurt the Bears.

Next season might not be a year where everything is fixed, but the bottom line is that we didn’t see a complete Bears team in 2015 which is at least something to look forward to.
. (6-9). Previous: . chicago bears. 23. team. 57
