42. <p>The San Francisco 49ers continue to struggle as a franchise, dropping a game to the equally atrocious Detroit Lions. That being said, Blaine Gabbert might be winning the starting job for next season. He completed 22-of-33 passes (67%) for 225 yards and two touchdowns.</p> <p>Those are solid numbers if he could get some help elsewhere on the field.</p> <p>The 49ers got torched by Matthew Stafford, who threw for over 300 yards including one to superstar wide receiver Calvin Johnson.</p> <p>Either way, the 49ers are still trying to figure out which way is up and the end of the 2015 season can’t come soon enough. At this point, 49ers fans have to be just excited to look forward to the 2016 season and dreaming of draft picks</p> <p>At 4-11, the 49ers will be in the mix for a top pick but there are so many other question marks facing this team as they head into the offseason. Are they going to stay firm at coach, are they going to change things up, can they bring in free agents, do they really blow things up.</p> <p>Either way, 49ers fans are looking forward to forgetting this season and moving on to hopefully a brighter tomorrow.</p>.
