1. Sean Payton
The New Orleans Saints have not fired Payton as their head coach, and there is still a chance that he will stay in New Orleans for the 2016 season. However, the Saints will definitely consider moving on without him since they have experienced another losing season despite having Drew Brees at quarterback. Brees is rumored to be on the move since he only has one year left on his Saints contract while carrying a $30 million cap hit for the 2016 season. This may encourage the Saints to part ways with their Super Bowl-winning quarterback.
If Brees leaves town, this may very well cause Payton to follow suit even if it is not on the Saints’ terms. If they can, the Eagles should reach out to the Saints head coach since he is one of the most brilliant offensive minds in the NFL. Payton has helped Brees establish himself as an elite quarterback since leaving the San Diego Chargers, and he led the Saints to their first Super Bowl win in franchise history while turning a perpetual laughingstock into an annual contender.
Payton could certainly mold the next great quarterback in Philadelphia and guide a team to their first Super Bowl win again if he receives the opportunity. His fate with the Saints has yet to be decided though.
