1. player. 35.
It doesn’t matter if they’ve used a litany of top draft picks on the offensive line. The fact of the matter is that the Tennessee Titans aren’t good enough up front, and it’s plain in every facet of their offensive play – from the running game (89 yards per game) to pass protection (45 sacks allowed). Neither is quality enough to make good on the team’s investment in quarterback Marcus Mariota.

The best place to always start with improvement is the tackle position. In truth the Titans may be ahead of the game on that front. Taylor Lewan seems to have really settled in on the left and is easily their best blocker. Though he’s given up eight sacks, he’s only allowed 14 additional pressures and two hits. The problem is right tackle where Byron Bell and Jeremiah Poutasi both took turns struggling.

Hence the obvious move of signing the best tackle in the class and perhaps the best player. The crazy thing about Laremy Tunsil is he missed a good part of the 2015 season with a broken leg, yet that did nothing to his draft stock. It’s a testament to how talented he is. Size, length, nimble footwork, good discipline in his mechanics and power for the running game are all checkmarks.
. OT. Ole Miss. Laremy Tunsil
