1. Jim Harbaugh

Nobody is trying to argue that Jim Harbaugh is the kind of guy you want to go to the bar with. In fact, Harbaugh is probably the guy who walks into the bar, and causes you to hide your face in hopes that he does not sit down next to you. Still, he is one of the best coaches to hit the National Football League ins the last 25 years, and the San Francisco 49ers ran him off.

Harbaugh came to San Francisco prior to the 2011 season and took over a franchise that had been absolutely deplorable since the end of the Jeff Garcia days. Harbaugh fixed Alex Smith, made the defense one of the scariest groups in the league and immediately went 13-3, taking the 49ers to the NFC title game. Harbaugh would reach those heights each of the next two seasons as well, becoming the first coach in NFL history to reach the conference title game in each of his first three campaigns.

Harbaugh then went 8-8 in 2014 and was run out of town by general manager Trent Baalke, who has watched his team fall apart in the months since. Baalke promoted Jim Tomsula to head coach, which has been nothing short of a laughable disaster. The 49ers are on the verge of a 4-12 season, have no decent quarterback to speak of and could be looking at a massive rebuilding plan.

Other than that, everything is going really well.
