2. New England Patriots

What, the Patriots with the best coach in football in Bill Belichick? Yes, but obviously not to take Bill’s job, but instead to learn from him.

Belichick, like Garrett, also has ties to Nick Saban and there may be an opening at offensive coordinator should the guy currently holding that title be given a head coaching gig.

Josh McDaniels is one of the better offensive coordinators in the NFL, and after things didn’t work out for him as the head man in Denver, he ended up back home in New England, after a quick pit stop in St. Louis. He has since worked to repair his image, and his name is resurfacing as a potential head coaching candidate.

Assuming both moves happen (Jason being canned and Josh being given a new job) this would probably make the most sense for Garrett. Working under someone like Belichick would allow him to fine tune his approach to coaching while reclaiming play calling duties to prove Jerry Jones stepping in was a mistake.

A few years in New England could be all he needs to show people that he is the offensive mind that many once believed him to be, while also rehabbing his image of being a puppet that simply does whatever Jerry Jones tells him to do.
