4. Washington Redskins

Full disclosure, this one feels a bit unfair. Having already locked up the NFC East division title, the Washington Redskins essentially have nothing to play for in Week 17 of the NFL season as they travel to Big D to take on the Dallas Cowboys. Subsequently, there’s a good chance that the likes of Kirk Cousins and even guys like Jordan Reed either will play limited snaps or won’t play at all on Sunday.

However, that may not swing thing in the Cowboys’ favor as heavily as some might think. After all, Dallas is working with their third-string quarterback in Kellen Moore right now and their defense has given up a bevy of points to offenses about at the level of Washington’s second unit. Even if it’s the backups that take on the Cowboys, they still have a chance to win.

However, I like the Cowboys to win this game no matter who plays for the Redskins, largely based on the narrative of the franchise and this season. As of right now, Dallas has a chance at a really high draft pick and to further improve as they get healthy once again. Considering that a win would help mess that up, that’s probably exactly what will happen.
