High Value PG

Tony Parker-San Antonio Spurs (5,100): Parker and the Spurs will be out to avenge their loss to the Rockets on Christmas Day.  In that game, Parker struggled making just one of his seven shots, but he has bounced back with three strong games since then totaling at least 28 fantasy points in each of those three contests. He has seven games with at least 25 fantasy points in his last nine games, and he should be in a place to succeed at home tonight after getting his shot back on Wednesday when he shot 5/8.

Trey Burke-Utah Jazz (4,600): Burke stepped up for my DraftKings daily picks on New Year’s Eve with 27 points against the Blazers in just 29 minutes.  He finished with just over 35 fantasy points for the second straight game.  He’ll continue to get more playing time and scoring responsibility while Alec Burks remains sidelined, so look for Burke to continue to produce solid numbers.  He has scored at least 13 points in four of his last five games and has at least 23 fantasy points in each of those four contests. ∗∗∗∗

Mario Chalmers-Memphis Grizzlies (4,100): Of the backup PG under 5K, Chalmers is on that offers a pretty good amount of upside.  He has put up two solid stat lines in his last couple of performances with 29.25 fantasy points on Sunday against the Lakers and 27.25 fantasy points on Tuesday against Miami. In those two games he has averaged 11.5 points, 5.5 assists, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.0 steals.  If he keeps getting over 20 minutes off the bench like he did in those two contests, ‘Rio will be able to produce solid numbers and Memphis’s primary backup point guard.

Norris Cole-New Orleans Pelicans (3,800): Chalmers former backcourt-mate in Miami Norris Cole is also picking up some nice playing time for his new team the Pelicans.  He has played at least 30 minutes in three of his last four games and comes into today’s game off of back-t0-back 15+ point performances that resulted in 32 and 29.25 fantasy points. New Orleans is in a good matchup tonight against the Mavericks, so give Cole a look if you think he’ll keep getting the playing time for the Pelicans.
