High Value PF

Tristan Thompson-Cleveland Cavaliers (5,200): Thompson had nine points and seven rebounds against the Nuggets to close out the Cavs road trip on Tuesday and has at least 21 fantasy points in four of his last six games.  Thompson is expected to continue to start at center for now which should give him enough minutes to approach a double-double on most nights.  He definitely will get you boards, and his offense will come alongside the big three of the Cavs as they round into form coming down the stretch.

Terrence Jones-Houston Rockets (4,200): There aren’t a lot of great cheap PF options lined up for tonight, so try to go cheap elsewhere if possible.  If you do have to go under 5K, Jones is one of the options that has the most upside for this evening.  He only played 15 minutes on Thursday against the Warriors in his return from illness, but he had been playing well before he got sick with at least 23 fantasy points in four of his previous six games.  The Rockets rely on him for offense from PF while getting defense and hustle from starter Clint Capela.  When the Rockets faced tonight’s opponent the Spurs on Christmas Day, Jones had a solid 14 points and six rebounds, and I think he’ll likely be around those numbers again tonight making him a low-risk, low-ceiling option at under 5K.
