High Value SF

Jeff Green-Memphis Grizzlies (5,000): Green will get some extra playing time for Memphis as they take on the Jazz tonight since Matt Barnes will be serving the second game of his suspension.  Green was in the same situation on Tuesday and played 38 minutes contributing 29.4 fantasy points on 16 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.  He has at least 28 fantasy points in three of his last four, and he has a high ceiling as he showed us two weeks ago against the Wizards when he had a double-double on his way to 46.4 fantasy points. Hayward and the Jazz allow the third-fewest fantasy points to opposing SF, but Green should get enough playing time to compensate for the less-than-ideal matchup in Salt Lake City tonight.

Andre Iguodala-Golden State Warriors (4,800): If Curry sits again tonight, Iguodala will be a nice play against the Nuggets.  He has stepped up without Steph scoring 20 points on Thursday and finishing with over 20 fantasy points in both games Curry was sidelined.  He doesn’t get a ton of scoring in Golden State’s full rotation, but if Curry is out again Iguodala is a great play to consider. With Curry-, without Curry-.

Paul Pierce-Los Angeles Clippers (3,900): Pierce has stepped into the starting lineup while Blake Griffin is out, and has provided decent numbers for someone under 4K.  He played 20+ minutes in three of his last four games and had two games of at least 25 fantasy points in those four games.  Pierce doesn’t have a sky-high ceiling, but since he’s playing PF, he could be set up for a good game since Philadelphia allows the second-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PF so far this season.
