1. Houston Texans

The reason that Christian Hackenberg was once considered a top quarterback prospect was largely because of Bill O’Brien. When O’Brien was the head coach at Penn State, he got a level of production out of Hackenberg that hasn’t been seen out of him since.

In the NFL, it’s all about the right fit for young quarterbacks and Houston is easily the perfect fit for Hackenberg. The team has done a great job of surviving off of Brian Hoyer and T.J. Yates, but they are, once again, in need of a quarterback of the future.

If there’s anyone that could turn Hackenberg into a solid NFL quarterback, it’s O’Brien. In Houston, he would have a stable offensive line in front of him and a run game with Arian Foster to help him out, by carrying a major share of the load.

At the wide receiver spot, he’d have guys like DeAndre Hopkins and Jaelen Strong to throw the ball too. They’ve done a good job of succeeding in the passing game with a patchwork stable of quarterbacks this season, but they need to find that future guy.

If there’s any team that’s a sure bet to take a chance on Hackenberg, it’s going to be the Texans.
