High Salary G

Corey Crawford-Chicago Blackhawks ($8,000): Crawford has the luxury of playing with a very talented team in front of him. He has posted 19 wins this season along with a GAA of 2.30 and a .923 save percentage. He wasn’t really sharp his last time out, giving up five goals to Arizona on Tuesday. However, Crawford was bailed out by his team and still escaped with the victory. He’ll draw Ottawa tonight, a team ranked seventh in goals scored per game.

High Value G

Kari Lehtonen-Dallas Stars ($7,100): Lehtonen has been playing in a rotation with Anti Niemi for much of the year. As good as the Stars are on offense, they have struggled to find a consistent goaltender. Lehtonen was shelled for four goals in the first period on Tuesday against Columbus but should get a chance to rebound tonight with Niemi starting in the crease Saturday night. Lehtonen, despite the poor performance his last time out, has a high-powered offense in front of him and makes a good target tonight.

Al Montoya-Florida Panthers ($6,900): The Florida Panthers stayed hot on Saturday night with a big victory over the New York Rangers. Florida has won eight straight and will get a chance to make it nine tonight at home against Minnesota. Roberto Luongo is having a fantastic year and is one of the biggest reason’s for Florida’s success. However, Luongo was in the case Saturday night and it’s tough to imagine him staring again today. If Luongo is given the day off, Al Montoya makes for a good play. The team he has playing in front of him is very talented and has been playing very well lately. Montoya has a record of 5-1-1 and has played great when called upon. Check his status to be sure, but you’ll save a lot of money by using Montoya.
