High Salary C

Matt Duchene-Colorado Avalanche ($6,200): There are not too many high-priced options available at center tonight, as nobody has a price tag over $7,000. That is good news for fantasy owners, as there will be more cap space to use elsewhere. Duchene is one of the highest salaries tonight and should be targeted. Although he’s got a tough matchup with Los Angeles, He has three points in the last three games and is averaging 3.5 fantasy points a game. Go ahead and put Duchene into tonight’s lineup.

Henrik Zetterberg-Detroit Red Wings ($6,000): Zetterberg has a great price for being listed as a high salary center. The veteran has quietly put together a solid season with seven goals and 22 assists and has averaged 2.9 fantasy points a game for his owners. Zetterberg found the back of the net Saturday and now has two points in three games. He’ll make for a fine play in your lineup tonight.

High Value C

Anze Kopitar-LA Kings ($5,500): Kopitar has been on fire over the past week or so with points in five straight games. He’s got 13 points in his last 11 games and is one of the best center options available, especially considering his price. He has been counted on to provide offense in the absence of Jeff Carter and gets a good matchup with Colorado tonight. Make sure you plug Kopitar into your lineup. Carter could make his return Monday, but that should only help the value of Kopitar.

Paul Stastny-St. Louis Blues ($4,800): Stastny has played in just 25 games this season due to injury but has made his mark with the Blues. He has a reputation as being a great assist man and has shown that thus far. He has 13 assists currently has a three-game point streak going. Stastny’s fantasy value is limited because he doesn’t take many shots and doesn’t score much, but as long as he’s dishing helpers he will help your lineup.

Victor Rask-Carolina Hurricanes ($4,700) Rask has been hot lately for the Hurricanes with points in two straight games and three points in his last four games. He’s got an average of 2.9 fantasy points a game and faces an excellent battle with Edmonton tonight. If you are looking for a cheap source of fantasy points at center be to use Rask.
