High Value SF

Evan Turner-Boston Celtics (5,400): With Avery Bradley ruled out for tonight’s game against the Nets, look for Evan Turner to get expanded time in a great matchup against the nets.  Brooklyn allows the most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SG which is likely where Turner would play if he gets the extra time tonight.  There’s definitely a risk that Marcus Smart will get the extra time instead of Turner, but Turner can produce in multiple categories and has been showing good form lately.  On Saturday against the Nets, Turner had 12 points, seven boards, and three assists for 23.9 fantasy points after an even better game last Wednesday against the Lakers when he had 20 points, eight assists, and four rebounds for 35.8 fantasy points. Turner is high-risk, high-reward for tonight’s rematch with the Nets.

Andre Iguodala-Golden State Warriors (4,900): Iguodala is the opposite of Turner in that he doesn’t have nearly the upside, but he also is much lower risk.  With all the injuries in Golden State, Iguodala was forced to play 43 minutes against the Nuggets on Saturday and finished with nine points, six assists, and three rebounds for 23.6 fantasy points. He has at least 17 fantasy points in each of his last five games and at least 20 fantasy points in each of his last three.  His value goes up a little without Steph Curry since he has to actively score more, but he’s worth a look even if Steph is playing since the Warriors are dealing with so many other injuries. With Curry-, Without Curry-

Shabazz Muhammad-Minnesota Timberwolves (3,700): Muhammad has been a DFS fantasy basketball tease for much of the season producing when on the floor but spending far too much time on the pine.  He has possible turned the corner, though, as the T-Wolves phase Kevin Martin out of their offense.  Muhammad has played over 20 minutes in each of his last two games and has 22.1 and 20.3 fantasy points scoring 15 and 12 points.  If he gets that much playing time tonight against the Sixers, Muhammad should be around 20 fantasy points again which makes him a solid value play. There’s a chance the T-Wolves put the game away early, but even in that case, I think Muhammad would play enough minutes to still be worth a cheap play at under 4K.
