High Value PF

Clint Capela-Houston Rockets (5,100): Capela continues to give the Rockets hustle, defense, and rebounding and contribute solid fantasy numbers.  He has posted at least 22 fantasy points in three of his last four games including Saturday when he had eight points, seven rebounds, and four blocks agains the Spurs.  The Jazz have been missing Derrick Favors and Rudy Gobert which leaves little defensive resistance up front for Utah. Capela is a double-double threat, but he doesn’t have a ton of offensive game yet to rely on him for big nights. That being said, he’s the best PF play around 5K tonight and a relatively low-risk option.

Tristan Thompson-Cleveland Cavaliers (4,600): Expect Thompson to continue to be a regular recurring character here in my FanDuel daily picks as long as he stays so affordable and starting for the reigning Eastern Conference champs.  Thompson is starting at center but eligible at PF on FanDuel.  He is a nightly double-double threat since he has double-digit rebounds in five of his last six games.  His scoring is inconsistent since there are so many other options on the floor, but he has been able to get at least 21 fantasy points in four of his last six games making him a solid value consideration tonight against the Raptors.

Aaron Gordon-Orlando Magic (3,800): Gordon has a ton of upside, and he has been able to produce when he’s earned playing time from coach Scott Skiles.  With rumblings that another rotation switch-up may be on the horizon, it’s possible that Gordon will move into the starting lineup.  Gordon has played 26, 25, and 26 minutes in his last three games with 24.4, 17.9, and 21.4 fantasy points based on solid scoring and exactly seven rebounds in each of those three games. Gordon could be one of the steals of the night, so watch carefully to see what news comes out of Orlando leading up to their game against the Pistons.
