High Salary G

Jonathan Quick – Los Angeles Kings ($9,100): The Kings go into their matchup against the Avalanche as winners of five straight. Quick has started each of those five games and he has allowed a combined seven goals in those five games. The Kings have won each of their last six meetings against the Avalanche. He has a 92.3 percent save percentage on the year and he clearly has the hot hand. He averages 5.2 fantasy hockey points per game.

Cory Schneider – New Jersey Devils ($8,800): The Devils and Red Wings are two of the lowest scoring teams in the league. Schneider has played just about as well as any goaltender not named Braden Holtby so far this season. Detroit has won 11 of the past 16 meetings between the two teams, but that should change tonight. He averages five fantasy hockey points per game.

Brian Elliott – St. Louis Blues ($7,700): Elliott enters tonight’s matchup against the Ottawa Senators with a 2-0-1 record and a 94.2 percent save percentage against Ottawa. Ottawa has won four of the last five meetings, but the Blues are the better team and should win at home against the Senators. He averages 3.4 fantasy hockey points per game.

High Value G

Louis Domingue – Arizona Coyotes ($6,600): Domingue has had an impressive start to his NHL career with the Arizona Coyotes. He has a 92.3 percent save percentage in his first seven outings, including three wins and a shutout. He’s going against the Vancouver Canucks and their 24th ranked goal scoring offense tonight. He averages 4.7 fantasy hockey points per game.

Cam Talbot – Edmonton Oilers ($6,600): Talbot has struggled recently, but he did very well against the Coyotes in his last start, getting his first win since December 21st. Perhaps he can build on that win tonight when the Oilers face the Carolina Hurricanes. He averages 3.3 fantasy hockey points per game.

DAILY PICK: Go with Domingue if you want the value or go with Quick if you want to splurge.
