10. player. 31.
The New York Giants used to be known for their ferocious pass rush, but as of late, that reputation has started to take a hit. Justin Tuck is no longer there and Jason Pierre-Paul may never be what he once was following his little fireworks mishap.

So, with that being the case, it’s time for the Giants to look to get that reputation back. That’s why sitting in this position they had better snag right up defensive end Shaq Lawson out of Clemson.

For all intents and purposes, Lawson was the main reason the Clemson Tigers were a feared defensive unit in 2015. This past season alone he recorded 55 tackles with a staggering 22.5 of them going for a loss. He also added in 10.5 sacks, so it’s more than safe to say that this young man knows exactly how to get in the backfield and cause some havoc when he wants to.

That is exactly what this Giants team needs. They need to start pressuring people once again if they want a chance of getting back to their perennial contender status they once owned in the NFC East. Lawson getting with this team and progressing at the rate we all assume he will could pay huge dividends in the end.

Lawson can be an instant contributor to the Giants’ defense in 2016, so if he’s sitting here, he’s going straight to the Big Apple.
. DE. Clemson. Shaq Lawson
