15.
Heading into the 2016 NFL season, the key to the New Orleans Saints’ success begins and ends with Drew Brees. The fact of the matter is that as long as the legendary quarterback is in the Big Easy, this is the way it’ll always be. Of course, to keep Brees successful, you also have to keep him safe back there in the pocket.

For this, the Saints should select tackle Ronnie Stanley out of Notre Dame to help out with this mission.

Stanley has been a constant along the offensive line for the Fighting Irish, and he was a good reason why both the passing and running games were successful for that team this past season. He’s just a monster up front and he’s efficient at both passing and run blocking.

It was pretty clear as they stumbled through the 2015 season that the Saints had some issues along that offensive line. If there is an area of this team that needs to improve, it’s the trenches up front on offense and the selection of Stanley is a good step in the right direction to getting the problem fixed.

There’s a little bit more to add to this entire Saints team, but Stanley becoming Brees’ new best friend is the best way to start for now.
. OT. Notre Dame. Ronnie Stanley. 12. player
