Reggie Ragland. 14. player. 28.
The Oakland Raiders showed some promise in 2015, meaning that they’re absolutely on the rise. There are some missing pieces on this team still, and they could certainly add to the defensive side of the ball.

So with that said, it makes much sense for them to use this selection on Alabama linebacker Reggie Ragland. And really, there’s no player in this draft that screams “Oakland Raiders” more than Ragland.

In reality, Ragland is one of the more ferocious and deadly backers in all of college football. This past season in helping Alabama put out one of the best units on that side of the ball in the country, he tallied 97 tackles with 6.5 of those going for a loss and 2.5 sacks. He’s just all over the place when he’s out there and he goes sideline to sideline better than maybe anyone else in the country.

Plus, the addition of Ragland to the defensive side of the ball will take a lot of the heat off of Khalil Mack, who was just outstanding in his second year. But if you add Ragland back there with him, then opposing offenses have another threat to worry about.

Ragland would be another great, young addition to a team that looks to be on the rise.
. ILB. Alabama
