player. 50.
The Detroit Lions took a serious step back in 2015. After making the playoffs in 2014, this Lions team fell to 7-9 and were a huge disappointment to many who picked them to make a run towards the playoffs once again.

One of the reasons that the team took such a step back is that the offensive line was a little testy at times, so with that, selecting Taylor Decker out of Ohio State seems like the obvious choice here in this spot.

Decker was undoubtedly one of the best offensive linemen in the Big Ten over the course of the past few seasons, and he could instantly provide some good service for this Lions team that needs it up front. There’s not a question that there’s some talent on the offensive side of the ball here led by Matt Stafford, they just need some protection to get things rolling again. Decker would come in and take care of that in a big way.

It might not look like the sexy pick to a lot of Lions fans who are used to their high-powered style on offense, but believe me, what Decker brings to the table will end up going a long way in the end.
. OT. Ohio State. Taylor Decker. 16
