The Atlanta Falcons got off to a fast start this season, but then the wheels started to come off, especially on the defensive side of the ball. With that being the case, there might not be a better selection at this spot than defensive tackle Jonathan Bullard out of Florida.

In four years with the Gators, Bullard totaled 175 tackles with 34 of those going for a loss and 12 sacks. He’s extremely quick off the ball and will bring the penetration to the table that this Falcons defensive line needs.

Going up against offenses in the division like the Panthers and the Saints, you need all the pressure that you can get. You need to get into the backfield before something happens, and Bullard would be the man to get the job done there. He could be an instant contributor on this team, a team that needs to show everyone next year that what happened this season was just a fluke. They can put things back together and they can do it quickly.

The Falcons offense isn’t all that much of a concern, so focusing on the defense is the right move here. Jonathan Bullard is the beginning of that movement for Atlanta.
. DE. Florida. Jonathan Bullard. 17. player. 44
