When it comes to Rex Ryan, you know that he loves his defensive stars. He would love for nothing more than to add some more beef to that defensive line, and this is where defensive end Shilique Calhoun comes into play at this spot in the draft.

This move makes sense on a lot of levels. First of all, it looks as if Mario Williams’ time in Buffalo has come to an end after a bit of a falling out, so there will be a huge need at this position. It also makes sense seeing as Calhoun is one of the best defensive linemen in this entire class.

In four years in East Lansing, Calhoun tallied 44 tackles for loss and 27 sacks. The 6-5, 250-pound beast can wreak some serious havoc in that backfield and he is someone that Ryan would love to have along his defensive line for the next few years to come. As the Bills look to contend in the AFC East starting next year, he could be a huge contributor in that mission.

Buffalo is a team right now, obviously, that is building around the defense and Shilique Calhoun being added to the group can mean nothing but good things for the future.
. OLB/DE. Michigan State. Shilique Calhoun. 19. player. 16
