22. player. 36.
UCLA Bruins star linebacker Myles Jack seemed destined to be a top-10 pick coming into his junior season in the program, but a knee injury suffered early in the year ended his campaign soon after and he announced his intentions to enter the draft soon after. That injury and having played only two years in college may hurt Jack’s stock a bit as a prospect entering the 2016 draft, but he’s a natural fit for the Seattle Seahawks if he falls to them.

There aren’t many players in this draft class who have shown the athleticism and the instincts that a pro player at a given position need to be successful in their college career. Even in just a short time with the Bruins, Jack undoubtedly did just that as he showed the explosiveness and awareness as a linebacker to effectively read offenses and make plays both as a pass rusher and in the running game.

Moreover, anyone questioning Jack’s NFL caliber athleticism needs only to look at tape of his freshman year where he lined up at running back for UCLA, playing on both sides of the ball. Jack’s injury lessens what his value could’ve been in this draft and he’ll likely fall to the mid-to-late first round. All that does is make him an absolute steal for Seattle, though: he’s going to be a stud at this level and the next star of the Seahawks’ vaunted defense.
. LB. UCLA. Myles Jack
