5. player. 52.
The Jacksonville Jaguars made a huge leap during the 2015 season, showing flashes of brilliance late in the year. Blake Bortles has taken steps forward and found chemistry with Allen Robinson, and T.J. Yeldon, when on the field, was very effective for a rookie.

However, the defense, which had been a source of strength for the team, regressed considerably. To be fair, first round draft pick Dante Fowler tore his ACL in the preseason and never saw a game. Nonetheless, there needs to be some help in the defensive secondary.

For the second consecutive year Jacksonville looks 90 minutes away to Gainesville to take a member of the Florida Gators. This time around it’s cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III.

Hargreaves is a freakish athlete who can shut down one side of the field. He’ll put wideouts on an island and can be a ballhawk to any errant throws.

Knocks on Hargreaves will be that he’s undersized and that he’s not the most durable of players. At 5’11, 192 lbs Hargreaves might have trouble with larger receivers like Calvin Johnson or Julio Jones, however he can rely on his athleticism to bait quarterbacks. As for durability, he was consistently dinged up while in college – mainly due to coaches often putting too much on his plate like using him in the receiving game.

Regardless, Hargreaves is a tremendous talent and a player that many consider the best pure athlete in the draft.
. CB. Florida. Vernon Hargreaves
