player. 59.
The Miami Dolphins are a team right now that has a lot of needs on both sides of the ball. After finishing up a disappointing 2015 campaign at just 6-10, this fact is more evident than ever.

They were particularly bad in the secondary, which is why the addition in this slot of LSU’s Tre’Davious White makes all the sense in the world, really.

Throughout the last three years in Baton Rouge, White was one of the better defensive backs in all of the SEC. In those three years on the Bayou, he recorded 126 tackles with seven of those going for loss and four interceptions. He can cover as well as anyone out there and he’s also, like most Les Miles defensive players, not afraid to come up and make the big hit when he needs to.

With all of the needs that the Dolphins do have, they don’t want to make a mistake choosing this high, but White here would be a safe bet. When you face the likes of Tom Brady twice a year, any sort of secondary help that you can get is more than welcome, which is enough to justify the selection of White here.

It might take a bit before this Dolphins team, who will be entering 2016 with a new head coach, is in contention again. But beefing up the secondary with White is a good way to get that process started.
. Positioned. LSU. Tre'Davious White. 8
