St. Louis Rams. 22. team. 51. <p>Not a lot of people had faith in them, but in the preseason there were some folks who were under the belief the St. Louis Rams could potentially make a run at the NFC West. Well, following their loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, they finished the regular season at just 7-9 and come away disappointed once again.</p> <p>Go ahead, you can get your Jeff Fisher “mediocre” jokes out of the way.</p> <p>Now, yeah, this was not a positive season for the Rams overall, but there were some promising signs. You know, like rookie running back Todd Gurley showing that he could indeed be an absolute beast at this level? Because he more than certainly did. After sitting out the first few games of the season, the former Georgia star was tearing through most defenses like he was in the SEC all over again. Should he indeed be able to stay healthy, then the Rams have a weapon on their hands for years to come.</p> <p>But, when it comes down to it, for as good as Gurley was, there are still a lot of parts on this team that need to be put in before they can be in contention for the division title, and this is yet another crucial off-season for this organization.</p>.
