46.
After three straight trips to the playoffs, including an AFC Championship Game appearance last year, the Indianapolis Colts were the hot pick to make a trip to the Super Bowl, and with good reason. Yet, following their win on Sunday over the Tennessee Titans, they finish up the season at 8-8 on the year and will have one of the more interesting off-seasons of anyone in the NFL.

Andrew Luck was playing a bit sloppily to start the year, and then he suffered an injury that brought his season to an abrupt halt. The defense was not all that promising either, and this team just went into a tailspin, to be quite frank. With all of this, reports have been out there that they’re ready to move on from Chuck Pagano, which could be a good or bad move in the end, we’ll have to see.

To that point as well, there are also the reports that Jim Irsay is ready to make a splash hire with someone like Nick Saban, which would really put more of a spotlight on Indy.

Is this a team that has seen its run of success come to an end beginning with this season? Absolutely not. A healthy Luck next year and the defense fixing their issues should have this team right back to where they were and this season could be just a bad memory.

But, getting back to the top requires some moves in the off-season, and the moves the Colts make will probably be under the microscope the most out of anyone.
.
