NFL Power Rankings: Playoff blues reign following Week 17

<p>Heading into Week 17 on Sunday against the San Diego Chargers, while they were already in the playoff field, the Denver Broncos needed a win to call themselves AFC West Champions. Well, while it wasn’t easy, and without a little controversy, they were indeed able to get that done. Now, this team has home-field advantage throughout the AFC Playoff.</p> <p>After weeks of going with Brock Osweiler under center, after a slow start on Sunday that went into the third quarter, Peyton Manning made his return to the field and you’d have to assume that they will try to make a Super Bowl run with their legend. He looked about as much of his old self as he possibly could have on Sunday, so it would make sense if they went that way.</p> <p>The Broncos have been the subject of controversy all season, especially when it comes to the quarterback position. However, one way or another, they were still able to get the job done. Of course, it also helps that they have one of the best defenses in all of the NFL, which every good playoff team needs.</p> <p>It was just one week, so we really don’t know what this Broncos team has overall.
