F. player. 59. . 6-10. 4th AFC East. Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins topped the vaunted (yet banged up) New England Patriots in their final game of the regular season to move to 6-10 on the year. That is about the nicest thing that can be said about this team and what they did in the 2015 season.

With the signing of Ndamukong Suh this offseason and the thought of pairing him with Cameron Wake on the defensive line, the Dolphins were expected to at least be a tough out on any given week this season. The fact that quarterback Ryan Tannehill showed tremendous improvement last season alongside the playmaking ability of Lamar Miller only furthered that sentiment heading into the season. With an injury to Wake, the team essentially quitting on Joe Philbin early in the season, and the team underperforming from top-to-bottom throughout the year, that’s not at all how things played out.

Essentially every concern that was to be had about the Dolphins heading into the season was realized throughout 2015. The defense playing behind Suh and Wake (when healthy) was abysmal and problematic, Tannehill regressed, and this team seemed completely unconcerned with taking a step forward as a unit. Even though 6-10 is far from the worse record in the league, how Miami performed and how far short they fell of expectations earns them an emphatic F.
