High Salary C

Pau Gasol-Chicago Bulls (7,800): Gasol is the top center tonight coming off a  big game in Toronto when he totaled 52.75 fantasy points on 19 points, 13 boards, six assists, and four blocks.  He has multiple blocks in each of his last nine games while scoring at least 17 points in seven of his last eight and finishing with nine rebounds or more in seven of his last nine.  Gasol is almost a sure thing for 40 fantasy points especially tonight against the Bucks who he has had success against in his career including last year’s playoff series and a monster 46-point 18-rebound performance almost a year ago today when the Bulls hosted the Bucks January 10, 2015. ∗∗∗∗

Zaza Pachulia-Dallas Mavericks (5,900): If you can’t afford Pau or don’t trust him against the Bucks, check out Pachulia tonight who has been about as steady as they come.  Pachulia has at least 34 fantasy points in each of his last five games. He has scored in double-digits in each of his last five while adding solid rebounds and defensive numbers.  The Kings get great offense from Cousins, but they do sacrifice defensively and have allowed the tenth most fantasy points to opposing centers so far this season and the fifth-most of any NBA team in their last five games. He’ll need to avoid foul trouble, but if he can stay on the floor Pachulia should be a solid play again tonight against the Kings.  ∗∗∗
