FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 5
High Value C
Andrew Bogut-Golden State Warriors (4,300): Festus Ezeli was active last night but didn’t play, and even if Ezeli does return tonight it will probably be with pretty major minutes limits. Bogut played 30 minutes against the Hornets and finished with just two points but six rebounds, three assists, and two blocks. The big Aussie had 15.7 fantasy points, but he has at least 19 fantasy points in seven of his last nine games in which he played his full workload. Tonight, he’ll be in a good matchup against the Lakers who he had eight points, seven rebounds, two assists, and a block against earlier this season. Bogut doesn’t have crazy upside, but he’s low-risk and will contribute in multiple categories tonight even if the game does get ugly and he sits at the end. ∗∗
Robin Lopez-New York Knicks (4,100): No team has given up more fantasy points to opposing centers in their last five games than the Hawks. Even Robin Lopez got in on the action on Sunday with 16 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, and three blocks to total 37.7 fantasy points in just 24 minutes of play. Lopez has an impressive total 11 blocks in his last three games and has reached 30 fantasy points in two of those three games with at least 18 fantasy points in six of his last seven. The Hawks front court deficiencies should allow RoLo to pick up another solid game making him a pretty attractive bargain play tonight. ∗∗∗∗
