High Salary G

Braden Holtby – Washington Capitals ($10,500): Holtby is an extremely expensive option but he is once again your best option. He is an even better option than usual tonight against the Boston Bruins. Holtby has haunted the Bruins for a majority of his career. He shut them out three times during the 2014-2015 season and they haven’t scored more than one goal against him since March of 2014. He averages 5.8 fantasy hockey points per game.

Roberto Luongo – Florida Panthers ($9,600): Luongo is the starting goalie for the hottest team in the NHL. The Panthers have won nine straight and go for ten straight tonight against the Buffalo Sabres. He has a .929 save percentage this season and he averages 5.2 fantasy hockey points per game.

Marc-Andre Fleury – Pittsburgh Penguins ($9,600): Fleury is a solid option today because the Penguins are hosting the Blackhawks. Chicago is a much better team at home than they are on the road. He has at least five fantasy points in three of his last four starts. He has a .927 save percentage and averages 5.2 fantasy hockey points per game.

High Value G

Connor Hellebuyck – Winnipeg Jets ($6,700): Hellebuyck is one of the cheapest goalies available on FanDuel. Don’t let his price fool you. He’s a very good goalie. He goes tonight against the Nashville Predators, who are a below average team in goals scored. He has gotten positive fantasy points in five of his last six games and at least six fantasy points in four of his last six games. He averages 5.3 fantasy hockey points per game.

Kari Lehtonen/Antti Niemi – Dallas Stars ($8,900/$8,300): Whoever the Stars decide to go with tonight should be facing a favorable matchup against a Rangers team that has struggled to score as of late. Lehtonen just allowed six goals on Sunday to the New York Islanders, so my best guess is that Niemi will start. Niemi averages 4.7 fantasy hockey points per game while Lehtonen averages 4.2.
