High Salary D

John Klingberg – Dallas Stars ($6,100): Klingberg has been one of the highest scoring defensemen in the NHL this season. He goes tonight against a Rangers team that has struggled defensively. If the Rangers play like they have been recently, Klingberg should have a huge night. He has a four game point streak and he averages 3.2 fantasy points per game.

P.K. Subban – Montreal Canadiens ($6,300): Subban currently has a three game point streak and has 27 points in 40 games so far this season. He has just one goal but he racks up assists. He goes tonight against the Flyers. He averages 3.1 fantasy hockey points per game.

Duncan Keith – Chicago Blackhawks ($6,300): Keith is one of the Blackhawks who does well regardless of whether he’s playing at home or on the road. He has 23 points in 30 games this season. He has a three game point streak during which he has five points. He averages 2.8 fantasy points per game.

High Value D

Aaron Ekblad – Florida Panthers ($5,500): Ekblad has five points during his last ten games, including four during the Panthers current nine game winning streak. He goes against a Sabres team tonight that has been struggling both offensively and defensively as of late. Expect a great game from him tonight. He averages 2.7 fantasy hockey points.

Shayne Gostisbehere – Philadelphia Flyers ($3,800): Gostisbehere has hit a bit of a cold stretch and has been  held off the scoresheet in his last three games. He still has 14 points in 21 games this season. At that price, Gostisbehere is worth the risk to see if he can get out of his current slump. He averages 2.9 fantasy hockey points per game.
