player. 60.
The Minnesota Vikings have put together an impressive season on both sides of the ball. With Teddy Bridgewater and Adrian Peterson finally reunited, the offense has been clicking for much of the Vikings season and both players have done well. The addition of Stefon Diggs out of Maryland in last years draft dramatically helped Teddy Bridgewater’s development and helped an offense that relies on the run set up the pass.

A hole the Vikings still have to fill in their offense however is at the guard position. Right now, former sixth round pick Brandon Fusco and undrafted free agent from the San Diego Chargers organization Michael Harris are manning the two holes up front, but some better talent is needed. Making this addition not only cuts down on the 42 sacks Minnesota’s offensive line allowed, but creates better running lanes for Adrian Peterson.

Vadal Alexander is this draft’s best option for offensive guard coming out of LSU. A very aware and mobile lineman, Alexander is an excellent run blocker. While his ability to use his hands properly is still a work in progress, he has all of the raw tools to start for the Vikings in 2016.
