124.
Along with the Seattle Seahawks, the Kansas City Chiefs are one of the hottest teams in football entering the playoffs as the number five seed. They will take on the Houston Texans and will surely be favorited heading into the game. The excellent hiring of Andy Reid just a couple of years ago has set up Kansas City to make a strong playoff run not just for this year, but several years to come.

To sustain their recent success long-term, the Chiefs will have to continue drafting well and making the right moves in free agency. With the aging Derrick Johnson due for a new contract this year, bringing in Alabama’s Reggie Ragland is the best move Andy Reid and his staff can make in this years draft. A dominant defender for the Tide this year, Ragland helped set the tone and prove why Alabama belonged in last weeks playoff win versus Michigan State.

A very smart player, Ragland is a sure tackler and will also get to the quarterback when needed. While he is not known for his range or ability to defend the pass, the Chiefs strong secondary can help pick up the slack while Ragland gets adjusted to the league.

Previous Pick: Vadal Alexander, OL
. Linebacker. Alabama. Reggie Ragland. 24. player
