Cam Newton should probably just stick to football, and this is some pretty good proof.

Cam Newton is without question one of the best players in all the NFL, and this was pretty evident this past season as he led the Carolina Panthers to a 15-1 record and a return trip to the NFL Playoffs. However, he should probably just stick to the game of football and not try another sport like, you know — basketball.

Newton recently made a trip back to his old high school, Atlanta Westlake, to take in one of the basketball games. In addition to watching the kids from his old school hoop it up on the court, he got the chance to hoop it up himself, as he got to stand in the corner and try to knock down a three in front of everyone in attendance.

Yeah, well, that didn’t work out all too well for him …

Oh man, that was rough. Not to mention, he couldn’t easily knock down a three-pointer from a high school line, so you have to wonder what happens if he has the chance to try to knock one in from NBA range.

After watching this, that probably wouldn’t be a wise move. Or, come to think of it, for our enjoyment it might be.
