FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 6
High Salary PF
Anthony Davis-New Orleans Pelicans (10,200): Davis had 31 points and 14 rebounds against Dallas on Saturday, and he’ll face the Mavs again tonight as they come off their win last night in double-overtime against the Kings. Davis should be well-rested and ready to take it to them once again. Davis has at least 44 fantasy points in four of his last six games, and he could be lined up for a monster game at home against the Mavs. ∗∗∗
Chris Bosh-Miami Heat (7,900): Bosh has been on fire in his last nine games with at least 20 points in eight of those contests, four double-doubles, and five games with at least 40 fantasy points. He fell just shy of 50 fantasy points on Monday with 31 points, 11 rebounds, an assist, a block, and a steal. He got a little extra work since Hassan Whiteside was out, and he could be in for another great game if Whiteside is forced to sit again (gametime decision). Bosh did play a massive 42 minutes on Monday in the second night of a back-to-back, but he should be charged up and ready to go against the Knicks tonight in Miami. With Whiteside-∗∗∗ Without Whiteside-∗∗∗∗
Thaddeus Young-Brooklyn Nets (7,100): Young has been excellent for the Nets and will need to take it to another level with Jarrett Jack out. He got off to a good first step to doing just that with a big game on Monday against the Celtics in which he piled up 23 points and 15 rebounds on his way to 48 fantasy points. He has six double-doubles in his last nine games and has at least 30 fantasy points in each of those six games. Look for a similar performance tonight as the Nets try to take down the Raptors in Brooklyn. ∗∗∗∗
Kenneth Faried-Denver Nuggets (6,500): If you need a low-risk option under 7K tonight, one of the names to check on is Faried. He has at least eight points and eight rebounds in each of his last five games and has a pair of double-doubles during that timespan while totaling 25 fantasy points or more in four of those five outings. He has fared well against the T-Wolves this season averaging 14 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks in their previous three meetings. Faried was dealing with some soreness and didn’t practice yesterday, but he is expected to be a full go tonight against the T-Wolves, and I think he’ll be ready with a solid double-double. ∗∗∗∗
