FanDuel DFS Fantasy hockey picks January 6th
High Salary C
Sidney Crosby – Pittsburgh Penguins ($8,900): Don’t look now but Crosby has 12 points in his last 10 games and has a four game point streak. Crosby should be in the top 10 in the scoring race by the end of the season. That’s quite remarkable considering how slow his start was. He was outstanding on Tuesday against the Blackhawks with a goal and an assist. That gives him three multi-point outings in his last four games. He averages 3.4 fantasy hockey points per game.
Jonathan Toews – Chicago Blackhawks ($8,500): Toews is starting to heat up with at least one point in seven of his last nine outings. He has nine points total during that span and 26 points in 41 games this season. He typically isn’t a great fantasy center because a lot of his value comes in things that aren’t valued on FanDuel. He’s playing extremely well as of late though so he’s certainly worth considering. He averages three fantasy points per game.
High Value C
Nazem Kadri – Toronto Maple Leafs ($6,400): Kadri quietly has points in seven of his last eight outings, picking up nine points during that span. He has 20 points in 37 games this season. He has 24 shots on goal in his last nine games and is among the league leaders in shots on goal per game. Even against a surging Ducks team, he’s a very solid option. He averages three fantasy points per game.
Paul Stastny – St. Louis Blues ($5,200): Stastny has been a bit disappointing with just 17 points in his first 26 games this season. However, he does have a four game point streak and has finally started to develop some chemistry with his new linmates. He averages 2.1 fantasy points per game.
