87. . OC. Carolina Panthers. Mike Shula. 4. player

Why They Fit: A few years ago, Shula’s name popped up as a possibility for the Bucs job when Raheem Morris was fired. He stayed in Carolina and is now coaching Cam Newton to an MVP season that might very well end with a Super Bowl win. Tampa Bay would love to not only steal that talent away from the Panthers in the NFC South, but also give Jameis Winston a quarterback guru who could one day turn him from Rookie of the Year (maybe) into an MVP (maybe).

Why They Don’t Fit: He’s not Dirk Koetter — which is a blessing and a curse. Winston had Rookie of the Year type success with Koetter calling plays, and to all of a sudden change schemes in his second year could be disastrous. There’s also the fact that Shula is much better suited for jobs in Tennessee and Miami than in Tampa Bay. Sure, the Bucs would be stealing away a rival coordinator for their own cause, but it’s too high a cost any way you look at it.

Will It Happen: It very well could, but there are better jobs out there. The Bucs seem determined to keep Dirk Koetter, and if that happens then Mike Shula’s offense might clash with Koetter, which causes all kinds of confusion for Jameis Winston.
