High Value PG

Jordan Clarkson-Los Angeles Lakers (5,700): Clarkson only played 29 minutes in the Lakers blowout loss on Tuesday, but he did quickly pile up 23 points go with five rebounds to get to 31.75 fantasy points. He has at least 29 fantasy points in four of his last five games and is averaging 17.2 points, 4.2 assists, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.0 steals over that time period. He scored 22 points in the Lakers first meeting with the Kings, and if the Lakers are going to keep tonight’s game close they’ll need to get good production from Clarkson once again. When the Lakers are at their best, Clarkson can be a multi-category producer and fill up the stat sheet. Against the Kings who allow the third-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PG, Clarkson is a great late-game play tonight.

Patrick Beverly-Houston Rockets (4,100): Beverley continues to be a very cheap starting PG as he starts alongside James Harden.  Harden does most of the offensive work, to be sure, but Beverley has at least nine points in each of his last four games and has 27 fantasy points in two of his last three outings.  Tonight against the Jazz, he could be set up for more minutes since Ty Lawson who serves as his backup is dealing with an ankle injury that cost him practice yesterday.  Beverley doesn’t have a  high ceiling, but he is low-risk and a solid play if you have to go under 5K tonight.
