High Value SG

Rodney Hood-Utah Jazz (5,800): Hood came back to earth last night against the Spurs partly because he only played 21 minutes in the blowout. Before his 10.25-fantasy-point dud, he had three huge games with over 38 fantasy points against the Rockets, Grizzlies, and Blazers.  Hood scored 23 points and added seven assists against Houston on Monday, and he’ll look to return to that kind of performance tonight as the Jazz take on the Rockets again. Hood shouldn’t be too worn out since his minutes were controlled last night, and he should get enough playing time to be productive against Houston who has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing SG. ∗∗

Marco Belinelli-Sacramento Kings (4,300): Belinelli played plenty of minutes on the team’s two-game road trip due partly to the absence of Omri Casspi.  With Casspi sidelined, Belinelli played 34 minutes in Oklahoma City scoring 21 points and followed that up with 43 minutes in Dallas scoring 14 points and adding nine rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Belinelli now has at least 24 fantasy points in four straight games and has been a big part of the Kings improved play lately.  He has scored at least 14 points in four straight, and should be a good play tonight against LA who allows the fifth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SG.  Belinelli’s playing time and role could vary widely depending on Casspi and Rondo’s availability, but he’s a good cheap play either way.  With Casspi-, No Casspi-

Nik Stauskas-Philadelphia 76ers (3,400): There was a time early in the season when Stauskas was in almost every DFS lineup since he was getting minutes and taking a ton of shots of the Sixers.  He virtually disappeared in the rotation for a while, but he’s been back lately and has played at least 23 minutes in five of the Sixers last six games.  He dropped 18 points on the Clippers on Saturday last week which was enough to earn his way into the starting lineup for Monday against Minnesota.  He played 29 minutes but only managed five points, four boards, and three assists.  Still, his 16.5 fantasy points are a decent return at such a minimal investment and if he keeps his starting job alongside Ish Smith he could continue to see his production increase. He’s a low-cost gamble tonight, but he’s worth a look if he starts against Atlanta and can help you stack the other players you want in your lineup. In lineup- Off the bench-
