Mark Giordano-Calgary Flames ($6,200): Giordano stayed hot on Tuesday night with two assists against Tampa Bay. That’s 11 points over the last eight games and he now has a three-game point streak going. A favorable matchup and a hot streak make Giordano a very solid option tonight at defenseman.

Brent Burns-San Jose Sharks ($8,100): Burns is averaging 5.5 fantasy points per game, the highest among all players on the board tonight at any position. He has been an absolute fantasy beast and is worth every bit of cap space that he will cost you. Burns is working on a four-game point streak and has 11 total points over his last seven games. Having Burns as a top target is nothing new, so take him and enjoy the production.

John Klingberg-Dallas Stars ($6,100): Klingberg stretched his point streak to five game on Tuesday with a goal in the game with the Rangers. His 38 points has him second among defenseman and he is clearly in the conversation for the Norris Trophy, given to the top offensive-minded defenseman. Klingberg plays a bunch of minutes, including on the all-important power play. He started this season hot but then cooled down. However, he’s clearly rolling again and needs to be a top target for daily fantasy lineups.

Shayne Gostisbehere-Philadephia Flyers ($4,700): Gostisbehere has slowed down since his hot start after being inserted into the Philadelphia lineup but he still has great numbers with 16 points in 22 games. He just had a goal and an assist Tuesday night and still makes a great fantasy target at defenseman. His days of carrying a salary around $3,000 are long gone but he’s still available for a discounted price. Take advantage while you can.

Matt Niskanen-Washington Capitals ($4,500): Niskanen has seen the biggest boost since the injury to John Carlson. He’s gotten a significant bump in ice time and has taken full advantage of the opportunity. He has points in four straight games and will look to keep it going versus the Islanders tonight. Niskanen is a great value pick so make sure you utilize him while he’s getting the extra minutes.
