High Salary G

Braden Holtby-Washington Capitals ($8,400): Washington’s star netminder got back to his winning ways on Tuesday night after allowing four goals in an overtime loss to Columbus on Saturday. He leads the league with 25 wins and has been lights-out for much of the season. The Capitals are the best team in the league and and Holtby has won five of his last six starts. He’ll get a good matchup tonight with the Islanders.

Jonathan Quick-LA Kings ($8,200): Quick is second in the NHL with 22 wins and has been playing about as good as anyone in net this season. He was sharp in his last outing on January 2 and has won his last five starts. Quick is a fantastic choice for goalie in terms of fantasy and gets a very favorable matchup with Toronto tonight.

High Value G

Kari Ramo-Calgary Flames ($7,300): Ramo is the confirmed starter for the Flames tonight at home versus Arizona. He has been on a roll with back-to-back strong performances. He faced 57 shots and allowed just one goal in wins over Colorado and Tampa Bay. Tonight’s opponent, Arizona, is surprisingly one of the highest-scoring teams in the NHL. However, while the matchup isn’t great, Ramo has been stellar and deserves consideration as a fantasy starter tonight.

Petr Mrazek-Detroit Red Wings ($7,400): Mrazek doesn’t have the easiest matchup tonight against San Jose, but he’s been playing well lately and the Sharks have actually lacked the offensive firepower they’ve been known for the past few seasons. Marzek has won his last two starts and is up to 13 wins on the season. With some top goalies available tonight, Marzek could get overlooked, making him a good value choice.
