High Value PG

Darren Collison-Sacramento Kings (5,600):  Collison got the start in place of an ailing Rajon Rondo in Dallas on Tuesday and finished with 14 points, 12 assists, and two steals in a massive 47 minutes in the Kings double-OT loss.  He had a total of 37.8 fantasy points in that contest and has actually been a fairly consistent contributor of at least 25 fantasy points even when Rondo has been active. Collison has at least 25 fantasy points in six of his last eight games, and against the Lakers woeful defensive backcourt he’s a good play tonight.  If he starts in place of Rondo, Collison moves into must-play territory, but even coming off the bench or starting alongside Rondo he can give you enough to make him worth his 5,600 against LA who allows the most fantasy points to opposing PG by quite a wide margin. With Rondo-∗ No Rondo-

Patrick Beverly-Houston Rockets (4,300): Beverley continues to be a very cheap starting PG as he starts alongside James Harden.  Harden does most of the offensive work, to be sure, but Beverley has at least nine points in each of his last four games and has 25 fantasy points in two of his last three outings.  Tonight against the Jazz, he could be set up for more minutes since Ty Lawson who serves as his backup is dealing with an ankle injury that cost him practice yesterday.  Beverley doesn’t have a  high ceiling, but he is low-risk and a solid play if you have to go under 5K tonight.
