High Value PG

Goran Dragic-Miami Heat (5,600): Dragic was a solid sleeper against his old team last night in Phoenix coming through with 36.9 fantasy points on 22 points, seven assists, two steals, and two rebounds.  He has at least 25 fantasy points in five of his last eight games and will look to continue that trend tonight against the Jazz.  Dragic can disappear sometimes on offense, but when he’s in the groove he can easily give you enough points and assists to be worth his 5,600 salary.

Darren Collison-Sacramento Kings (5,300): Collison is high risk with Rajon Rondo expected to play tonight, but in the Kings’ previous games against the Warriors Collison has been the one to step up while Rondo hasn’t played that much due to game situation.  Collison had 14 points and 12 assists when Rondo missed Tuesday’s game in Dallas playing a massive 47 minutes, but in the following game Collison only played 18 minutes on Thursday against the Lakers.  Expect his work tonight to be somewhere in between those extremes and he should settle in between 20-35 fantasy points tonight.

Shane Larkin-Brooklyn Nets (4,400): Larkin continues to be a cheap starter at PG who is getting minutes after Jarrett Jack’s injury.  Larkin played 30 minutes for the second consecutive game last night scoring 12 points and adding four boards and three assists for 19.3 fantasy points. He needs to pick up his non-scoring numbers to be a great option at the point, but tonight against the Pistons he should be able to return near value since he’s such a cheap play still and getting so much time running Brooklyn’s offense.

Cory Joseph-Toronto Raptors (3,700): If you have to go ultra-cheap at PG consider Joseph who plays over 20 minutes a game and usually finds some way to contribute.  He has at least 15 fantasy points in four of his last five games and against the 76ers tonight he could get some extra run if the game gets out of hand early. With Terrence Ross going down last night, Joseph could see even more time as the Raptors will likely slide DeMar DeRozan to SF and go with Joseph alongside Lowry in the backcourt.
