High Value PF

Ersan Ilyasova-Detroit Pistons (5,100): Ilyasova had a bad game on Wednesday against the Celtics finishing with just five points and five rebounds.  Before that contest, he had at least ten points in four straight and had at least 20 fantasy points in five straight games.  He doesn’t have an extremely high ceiling against the Nets, but he’s about the only players under 6K who is even close to reliable in a shallow PF pool.

Trevor Booker-Utah Jazz (4,300): There are very few cheap PF options tonight that have much potential at all.  Booker has been getting plenty of time for the Jazz lately due to their injuries in the front court, but Utah’s getting healthy now with Rudy Gobert returning on Thursday and Derrick Favors possibly coming back tonight.  Booker had a good game on Thursday with 12 points and nine rebounds, and he will probably get enough minutes again tonight to contribute even if Favors returns.

Quincy Acy-Sacramento Kings (3,800): Acy has found some fantasy value while Omri Casspi has been out.  He has 21.2 fantasy points on Tuesday against Dallas with 12 points and six boards and followed that on Thursday with 28.8 fantasy points with 18 points, four rebounds, and two blocks.  If Casspi is out again tonight, Acy is worth a look as a cheap flier. No Casspi-∗∗ If Casspi returns-no stars

Aaron Gordon-Orlando Magic (3,700): Gordon has been getting some solid run in the Magic rotation lately having played over 23 minutes in five of his last six games.  He has at least 19 fantasy points in four of his last six making him one of the best cheap plays on the board tonight.  He has enough upside to go with him against the Wizards who like to play small ball.  When the two teams met on New Years Day, Gordon played 25 minutes and finished with six points, seven rebounds, and three assists.
