High Salary RW

Patrick Kane – Chicago Blackhawks ($9,000): Kane is hilariously cheap when you consider that he’s the Art Ross Trophy and Hart Trophy favorite so far this season with 60 points in 43 games. He saw his five game point streak end against the Buffalo Sabres on Friday but he’s a good bet to start another one tonight. Kane faces the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday. He has 29 points in 32 career games against them. He averages 5.6 fantasy hockey points per game.

Matt Duchene – Colorado Avalanche ($8,200): Duchene has 34 points in 42 games this season and he has six points with 21 shots on goal in his last six games. He has had a lot of success against the Chicago Blackhawks in the past with 22 points against them in 24 career games. He averages 3.3 fantasy points per game.

Blake Wheeler – Winnipeg Jets ($6,400): Wheeler has quietly had a near point per game season with 40 points in 41 games. He has 11 points in his last ten games but has been held off the scoresheet in each of his last two games. He should return to the scoresheet today against the Buffalo Sabres, one of the league’s worst defensive teams. He’s averaging 3.5 fantasy points per game.

High Value RW

Jaromir Jagr – Florida Panthers ($5,100): Jagr has 30 points in 38 games this season. He has a three game point streak with four points in his last three games. He also has nine points over his last ten games. One of the teams that Jagr loves to face is the Edmonton Oilers. He has 39 points in 34 career games against them. He faces them on Sunday. He averages 3.1 fantasy hockey points per game.

Mark Stone – Ottawa Senators ($4,500): Stone will most likely be avoiding Braden Holtby today with the Caps likely starting their backup goalie Philipp Grubauer. That could be what he needs to break out of his slump. He has just five points in his last ten games. He has 33 points in 40 games this season. He averages 2.7 fantasy points per game.
