player. 56.
This team might want to draft a head coach, because Marvin Lewis will never win a playoff game as long as he lives. Why? Because the Bengals don’t have any respect for him as a team. When you watch the way that Vontaze Burfict conducted himself throughout the game on Saturday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers, it was apparent that Lewis had absolutely no control of Burfict or the situation.

Unfortunately for the Bengals, they can’t draft a head coach and are stuck with Lewis for what will probably be the next 25 years. Alas, it is time to waste some more talent and draft Vonn Bell of the local Ohio State Buckeyes. Bell is a really nice talent and a good fit in the Cincinnati defensive scheme. He’s an aggressive player who can both hit in the run and play nicely in pass coverage.

Bell gives the Bengals a nice replacement for either George Iloka or Shawne Williams, depending how Lewis wants to change things up on the back end. Bell also gives you some insurance against the age of Reggie Nelson, who despite leading the league in interceptions this season with eight is getting up there in age.

Cincinnati needs to upgrade the back end more than anything else, unless you can take a coach with a functioning ability to lead. Then that is the right move.
. S. Ohio State. Vonn Bell. 24
