DE. Ohio State. Joey Bosa. 4. player. 123.
The Dallas Cowboys entered the 2015 season with Super Bowl aspirations after a 12-4 record in 2014 and nearly a trip to the NFC Championship Game. But their down year in 2015 could be a blessing in disguise, resulting in a top-five draft pick that could net the Cowboys a much-needed piece to round out their team. And while the Cowboys focused on the NFL Draft to build a solid offensive unit, their defense could still need some help and they’ve been employing the same strategy.

Enter Ohio State defensive end Joey Bosa, who will help round out a defensive front that has been a patched together motley crew. Bosa and free agent Greg Hardy lining up on the opposite ends of the line could create a fearsome front, and Bosa would likely be quicker to acclimate to the NFL than last year’s second-round pick Randy Gregory did last year.

Now, the Cowboys could go defensive tackle, but why push their luck and pass up a top player like Bosa? Randy Gregory has been criticized for being under-sized and this could be the upgrade they need and Gregory could move into a hybrid role and split time at linebacker as well.
