2016 NFL mock draft: Quarterbacks everywhere!

Vernon Hargreaves III. 5. player. 52. <p>The Jacksonville Jaguars seem like they’re on the rise and that they’re building a well-rounded team, but still find themselves picking at the top of the draft. But this isn’t necessarily a bad thing for the Jaguars, it could be a blessing in disguise. They believe they got a quarterback in Blake Bortles and offensive weapons, and could focus on defense in 2016.</p> <p>If the Jaguars get a full-strength Dante Fowler back, their defensive line isn’t the most pressing need. That could lean towards the Jaguars drafting a defensive back to boost their struggling secondary.</p> <p>So why not take the best cornerback on the board in Vernon Hargreaves III, a local product from nearby University of Florida. This gives them a lock down corner who can shut off a side of the field and elevate the play of those on the unit with him. He plays well in the zone, is solid off the ball as well and can jam receivers at the line.</p> <p>Hargreaves is also the kind of cornerback who can come up and help in run support. All around Hargreaves is a fit for the Jaguars and the home state connection makes it a pick the fanbase can get behind.</p>. DB. Florida
